Philadelphia is fortunate to be well served by both domestic and international airports and is accessible from within the US and around the world. Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) is the closest airport to campus. Other nearby airports include:
- Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) is located approximately 87 miles (140 km) away.
- John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) is located approximately 109 mi (175 km) away
- Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) is located approximately 112 miles (180 km) away.
Philadelphia is also accessible by rail. Amtrak services Philadelphia and operates rail service along the Northeast Corridor which stretches from Boston, MA to Washington, DC. Amtrak’s 30th Street Station is within walking distance to Penn’s campus. Some Amtrak trains traveling along the Northeast Corridor have stops at both EWR and BWI. Check Amtrak‘s website for more information.
The conference hotel and venue can be reached by taxi, ride share, and Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) Regional Rail. Both Lyft and Uber are authorized to operate at PHL. SEPTA’s Airport Line stops at both University City and 30th Street Station. Both stops are within walking distance of the conference hotel and venue.
